Are You Going on a Trip? If So, Here Are Your Oral Hygiene Packing Tips
-Travel toothbrush: Don’t forget to pack your small, travel-sized toothbrush. The smaller the toothbrush is, the better—just make sure it has soft bristles and it still properly cleans the smile. It’s also best to pack a toothbrush cover so you can keep your brush away from germs and bacteria. However, please make sure the cover has ventilation characteristics so the brush can dry out after you’ve scrubbed your teeth.
-Travel toothpaste: You obviously can’t brush without toothpaste, so don’t forget your fluoride paste! However, if you are traveling on a plane, please remember that the paste is not allowed on the aircraft if it weighs more than 3.4 ounces. If it’s heavier, it will get confiscated.
-Floss: Floss is a handy tool, especially when you get food stuck in your teeth. There’s nothing worse than having a food-filled smile when you take pictures, so feel free to floss after each meal and snack.
-Mouthwash: Mouthwash is another handy tool to have because it completes the cleaning job and keeps your breath fresh and pristine. However, you will also need to make sure and pack the travel-sized mouthwash because only 3.4 ounces is allowed on the airplane.
